
Donald Duncan
Choirmaster and Artistic Director
With more than 20 years of experience as an organist and choirmaster, Donald W. Duncan serves as the founding director and the Artistic Director and Choirmaster of the Church Street Choral Academy. Donald W. Duncan also serves as Director of Liturgy and Music at Christ Church (Episcopal) in Greenville, South Carolina, where he manages and coordinates the many musical and liturgical offerings of a large and active 4,000 member parish. He conducts the semi-professional Christ Church Parish Choir and supervises a departmental staff with nearly 400 volunteers involved in liturgy and music.
He holds the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Lyon College, and the Master of Music degree in Sacred Music from the University of Memphis. His professional affiliations include the Royal School of Church Music, the American Guild of Organists, and the Organ Historical Society.
Sarah Marczynski
Christ Church Project Coordinator for Liturgy and Music
Sarah Marczynski joins Christ Church’s Music and Liturgy Department having recently served as the Director of Music Events at Lee University and as the Community Engagement & Education Manager at the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, both in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She holds a Master’s of Public Administration focusing in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s of Music Education, both from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Sarah is a choral singer, recently joining the South Carolina Bach Choir and has also become active with the Peace Center. She has served on the board of the Chattanooga Boys Choir and grant panels throughout the Southern region.
